Work
Currently working as a software engineer building things, growing teams, and thinking hard about how to make the craft better for the people doing it.
Learning
Exploring what it means to be human in an age increasingly shaped by AI. Reflecting on empathy, creativity, and balance. Iām focusing on personal growth, staying grounded, and collaborating with other people.
Returning to IC leadership after a few years in management. I'm having a blast leading hands on again and building with teams. There's a ton to relearn about how to wield influence differently and how set down one type of authority and pick up another kind of influence instead.
Outside of work
- Finding it hard to put down Pokopia
- Rediscovering music as something to play rather than just listen to
- Slowly building the habit of writing publicly again
